And the reason we went was to  watch our eldest son ride his bike. Nothing unusual about that, well may be.... as he rode 1500Km in 60 hours going from the most northerly village of France to the southern most village of France. I should say Chris seeing us at Amalie was a surprise as we did not tell Chris we would be along to watch (a secret keep by everyone involved :-)
